Adani International School Hosts IRIS National Fair 2025–26 In Ahmedabad

Adani International School (ADIS), Shantigram, organised the IRIS National Fair 2025–26 from February 6 to 8. The event highlighted the growing strength of school-level innovation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The three-day event reinforced Ahmedabad’s role as a centre for early-stage research and creative inquiry.

The national programme brought 75 student researchers from 12 states and 24 cities to a single platform, along with teachers, mentors, and subject experts.

As the second cohort of the initiative, the fair also encouraged collaboration, idea-sharing, and deeper engagement with scientific exploration.

Speaking at the valedictory function, Minister of State for Education Rivaba Ravindrasinh Jadeja addressed the gathering. She further underlined the need to introduce research thinking early in a student’s academic journey.

“Research is no longer confined to the laboratories of universities. It begins in institutions like Adani International School. When students start asking questions early and learn to test ideas and learn from failure, they build the foundation of a scientific temperament. Schools must therefore become incubators of ideas and solutions, not just centres of instruction,” the Minister stated.

Namrata Adani, Promoter of ADIS and Non-Executive Director at the Adani Group, noted, “At Adani International School, we believe curiosity must be nurtured early, and learning must extend beyond textbooks. Platforms like the IRIS National Fair allow students to question, experiment and apply knowledge to real-world challenges.”

Designed to extend learning beyond textbooks, the fair also featured student-led research displays, mentoring sessions, expert evaluations, and interactive discussions.

Participants received constructive feedback that enhanced their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

The programme commenced with a Principals’ and Educators’ Conference. During the session, school leaders from across Ahmedabad exchanged ideas on strengthening experiential and inquiry-based STEM education.

The valedictory ceremony witnessed the presence of several senior leaders.

Among those in attendance were Namrata Adani and Amit Singh, Chief Executive Officer of International Energy Business at the Adani Group.

The event’s conclusion, however, reaffirmed the role of schools in cultivating research aptitude and collaboration at an early age.

Adani International School continues to provide a globally aligned, future-ready education model that integrates experiential teaching with advanced technology, preparing students with essential skills for the evolving world.
