Adani Group’s ACC Posts Record Profits; Volumes In Strong Third Quarter Performance

ACC Limited, a key cement company under the Adani Group, reported an exceptional financial performance for the quarter ended December 31, Q3 FY26.

The company registered a sharp rise in profitability, revenue, and volumes, reinforcing its market leadership.

ACC posted a 346 per cent year-on-year jump in profit after tax on a normalised basis. The PAT stood at Rs 380 crore.

The company also recorded its highest-ever quarterly revenue of Rs 6,483 crore, reflecting a 22 per cent annual increase.

During the quarter, ACC achieved its highest quarterly cement volume at 11.3 million tonnes.

Volumes rose 15 per cent compared to the same period last year. The strong performance came from higher trade sales, rising premium cement demand, and continued expansion in ready-mix concrete operations.

Vinod Bahety, Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer of ACC Limited, said the company maintained strong growth momentum.

He stated that premium products and trade-led demand delivered better price realisations than industry peers. These factors helped consolidate ACC’s market position in key regions.

The quarter also marked a major strategic development. ACC announced its proposed amalgamation into Ambuja Cements Limited.

The move aims to create a unified “One Cement Platform” across the Adani cement businesses.

The integration is expected to accelerate growth, improve operational efficiency, optimise capital deployment, and strengthen industry leadership after regulatory approvals.

Bahety noted that the unified platform would unlock deeper synergies across procurement, manufacturing, and distribution networks.

During the quarter, ACC recognised Rs 50 crore as an exceptional expense.

The provision relates to additional gratuity and leave encashment liabilities following the implementation of the new Labour Codes effective November 21, 2025.

Along with its parent entity, ACC continues to focus on cost leadership. The company targets achieving a cost of Rs 3,650 per metric tonne by FY28 under the One Cement Platform.

ACC confirmed that cement grinding units at Salai Banwa with 2.4 MTPA capacity and Kalamboli with 1.0 MTPA capacity remain on schedule for commissioning in Q4 FY26.

On the market front, ACC’s premium portfolio, led by ACC Gold, continues to deliver higher EBITDA margins.

The company expects a rising share of premium and trade sales to sustain pricing strength.

ACC also expanded its ready-mix concrete business. The company added 14 new plants year-on-year. It now operates 117 concrete plants across 45 cities nationwide.
