Adani Green Talks 2025: Spotlight On Innovation & Inclusion

The fourth edition of Adani Green Talks was held in Ahmedabad, bringing together social entrepreneurs, innovators, and young changemakers dedicated to building a sustainable and inclusive future.

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, inaugurated the event with a keynote address, emphasising the platform’s role in nurturing ideas capable of transforming society.

Moreover, reflecting on the previous editions, Adani highlighted the journeys of notable participants.

GenRobotics has empowered thousands by eliminating manual scavenging, Navalt has revolutionised marine transport with solar-electric ferries, and Marut Drones has trained women as ‘Drone Didis’ under the Namo Drone Didi programme, turning them into confident agri-entrepreneurs.

Showcasing Emerging Innovators

Adani Green Talks 2025 featured five pioneering entrepreneurs:

  • Abhishek Chhazed of Recyclex, decarbonising construction with eco-friendly building materials.
  • Akshita Sachdeva and Bonny Dave of Trestle Labs, expanding Kibo to empower the visually impaired.
  • Manoj Sanker of Nemocare Wellness, developing affordable neonatal and maternal healthcare devices.
  • Jenil Gandhi and Manan Vyas of Avinya Leather, creating cruelty-free, plant-based vegan leather.
  • Sowmya Balendiran of Sea6 Energy, advancing seaweed farming for biofuels, bioplastics, and fertilisers.

These innovators exemplify India’s potential to tackle urgent social and environmental challenges through creativity and perseverance.

Adani Green Talks launched the Social Impact Awards this year, selecting winners from hundreds of applications for their transformative contributions, and presented the inaugural Lok Kalyan Award to Dr Krishna Ella of Bharat Biotech for developing indigenous vaccines, including Covaxin, which protected millions during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Also, Dr Ella dedicated the award to India’s scientists and innovators who pursue science with a social purpose.

Expanding Reach and Collaboration

Gautam Adani also announced that he is partnering with NDTV to expand Green Talks into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, recognising that innovation often arises from unexpected corners of the country.

Furthermore, he outlined his vision to transform Green Talks into a global collaboration platform, connecting Indian innovators with peers worldwide to pursue a shared mission of sustainable growth and social good.

Adani portrayed Green Talks as a symbol of possibility — the ‘green shoots’ breaking through the hardest soil to signal hope, freedom, and bold action.

By nurturing ideas aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, the platform strengthens the connection between youth aspirations, policy, and global collaboration, turning vision into tangible impact.

Meanwhile, Adani Green Talks 2025 reaffirmed India’s capacity for innovation and social change.

Through mentorship, recognition, and global networking, it continues to empower young changemakers to create a more sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future.
