Adani Foundation Drives Holistic Development Across Amethi

The Adani Foundation has launched a series of social welfare programmes in Amethi district, focusing on education, healthcare, sustainable livelihoods, and rural infrastructure.

The foundation supports a model solar village under the ‘PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana’. It promotes rural energy independence.

The initiative helps rural households access free and affordable electricity.

Boosting Health & Nutrition

In a recent initiative, the foundation distributed nutrition kits to 100 tuberculosis patients in the presence of the Chief Medical Officer. These efforts aim to strengthen health awareness and ensure better access to essential care in underserved communities.

Alongside, the foundation continues to invest in health awareness and service delivery improvements throughout the region.

Livelihood & Skill Development

The foundation’s programmes also prioritise skill development and employment for youth and women.

The foundation regularly holds job fairs and vocational training workshops to enhance employability and generate income sources.

Notably, Adani Foundation supports people with disabilities by providing them with tools, resources, and training to help secure sustainable livelihoods.

Empowering Women & Children

In line with its focus on women’s empowerment, the foundation has provided tables and chairs to 11 Anganwadi centres around its Tikaria cement plant.

The foundation aims to improve the learning environment and provide access to clean drinking water for children through these contributions. Plans are underway to upgrade these centres into model Anganwadis with government collaboration.

Innovative Education Through ‘BaLA’

To make learning more interactive, the foundation introduced ‘BaLA’ (Building as Learning Aid) wall paintings in 10 government schools in Tikaria Panchayat.

These educational murals creatively convey key lessons and positive messages, helping to engage young students visually and effectively.

With a vision to uplift 3.7 million lives annually, the Adani Foundation’s work spans four primary sectors: education, health, livelihood, and infrastructure.

The foundation also drives flagship programmes such as Suposhit, Swachhagrah, Saksham, and Udaan, focusing on behavioural change and long-term sustainability.

The Adani Foundation aligns its projects with local needs and government missions. This approach plays a transformative role in shaping a resilient and empowered Amethi.
