26,000+ Applications, One National Platform: Vande Bharatam Unveils Inaugural Cohort

Vande Bharatam, a grassroots innovation and entrepreneurship initiative launched by Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, has chosen its inaugural cohort from more than 26,000 applications received across India.

The initiative attracted entries from every State and Union Territory.

Applicants presented ideas across mobility, sustainability, technology, agriculture, defence, healthcare, manufacturing, education and several other sectors.

The selected innovators represent diverse regions, disciplines and backgrounds. They share a common ambition to address national challenges, build enterprises and generate wider impact.

Vande Bharatam rests on the belief that talent exists everywhere, even when opportunities remain limited.

The initiative seeks to connect emerging innovators with leading mentors, industry figures, greater visibility and opportunities to transform ideas into viable enterprises.

Gautam Adani said the selected innovators represent the possibilities of tomorrow’s Bharat. He stressed that talent has no geographical limits and opportunities should not either.

The Adani Group Chairman expressed hope that the first cohort would eventually produce founders and innovators who build enterprises capable of transforming India.

The cohort will undergo a multi-stage evaluation process.

Participants will attend Vande Bharatam Immersive Week, which includes mentorship sessions and interactions with business leaders, entrepreneurs and experts. Further evaluation rounds will follow.

The programme will conclude with the Vande Bharatam Grand Finale on August 14. Outstanding innovators will receive recognition and the Vande Bharatam Trophy.

Vande Bharatam aims to become more than a competition. Its long-term objective is to create a national platform that identifies promising ideas early. It will also connect innovators beyond traditional entrepreneurial centres with institutions and people who can accelerate their ventures.

The initiative reflects Adani’s belief in giving back to the country that enabled his own journey and creating similar pathways for others.
