Having a home of one’s own is everyone’s dream, achieved through hard work and dedication. People design their purchased homes according to their preferences. However, sometimes even a minor mistake can lead to Vastu dosha (architectural or energy imbalance), resulting in various problems within the house. But worry not, as there are Vastu remedies that can rectify these issues without making major changes to your home.
As per Vastu Shastra (an ancient Indian architectural system), each direction represents a specific element. Just like our bodies, our entire home is composed of five elements. For a happy and prosperous life, it is essential to have every corner of the house free from Vastu dosha, as its negative impact can affect a person’s life significantly. Let’s explore some Vastu remedies to ward off these doshas and create a harmonious living space.
To dispel Vastu dosha, install a Kalash in the northeast direction (Ishan Kon) of your home. The Kalash symbolizes Lord Ganesha, who is believed to bring prosperity and resolve various issues within the house.
To ward off Vastu dosha, draw a Swastik symbol using sindoor (vermilion) on the main entrance door of your home. Remember, the Swastik should have nine arms, and its length should be nine times its width. This remedy helps dispel negative energy from the house.
According to Vastu Shastra, horse-shoe nails are significant for correcting Vastu dosha. Place a complete horse-shoe nail at the main entrance of your home, with its open end facing upward. This remedy brings good fortune and eliminates Vastu-related issues.
If the entrance of your home is in the south direction, place a picture of Panchmukhi Hanuman (Lord Hanuman with five faces) near the entrance. This brings positive energy and dispels Vastu dosha. You can also install a pyramid made of panchdhatu (an alloy of five metals) for positive outcomes.
If your kitchen is not in the Agneya Kon (southeast direction), you can minimize the Vastu dosha by lighting a small lamp in the Agneya corner every day. This practice helps mitigate the Vastu-related issues in the kitchen.
Camphor can also be beneficial in correcting Vastu dosha. Place camphor at the locations where you suspect Vastu imbalance. Once the camphor evaporates, replace it again. This practice helps to a great extent in getting rid of Vastu dosha.
Remember, Vastu dosha can be rectified with these simple and effective remedies. Implementing these practices can bring harmony, peace, and prosperity to your home, ensuring a positive and vibrant living environment for you and your family.
