Menka Vs Iskcon: Allegation Sounds Biased Inviting Investigation

Though the allegations made by Menka Gandhi sounds shocking but they also sound biased. They are exaggerated too.

Indian lawmaker is known for her ceaseless efforts for the cause of animals’ care and safety. Recently her allegations over the ISKCON shocked Hindu community in India and outside as well. In her scathing attack the Member of Parliament says, the organisation sells cows and calfs to butchers.

The video on the Tuesday night  has gone viral in which Menka Gandhi attacked the religious organisation on social media on September 27, 2023. The irony here is a person sitting on a responsible position says this without any proof. Menka Gandhi should always think twice before making any such statements which hurt the sentiments of majority people of the nation.

The lady MP in the video brands ISKCON as the biggest cheat of the country. She says in the video, “Today the biggest cheat in India is ISKCON. The organisation establishes gaushalas (cow shelters) for which they receive benefits from Indian govt for running them. In my visit to their Anantpur Gaushala I could not find a single dry cow there. And there is not a single calf either. It means all of them have been sold. ISCKON is selling all its cows to the butcher.”

Not finding a single dry cow does not mean that the organisation sells cows to the butchers. If there is any evidence only then you can blame it on them. And if a lawmaker does something like this, it has another meaning.

The Member of Parliament from the platform of a Hindu majority political organisation which talks of Sanathan Dharma, should have thought twice before coming out with such an allegation. The ISKCON is Sanathani organisation which is being loved across the globe and no where in the world has seen or heard any such allegation every.

This Sanathani nation is a country of Ram and Krishna and we know Krishna loved cows. The Krishna Consiousness organisation is killing cows is such a blame that the organisation should hit back in the court of law.

ISKCON refuted Ms Gandhi’s claims deeming them FALSE & UNSUBSTANTIATED. Yudhistir Govinda Das, ISKCON spokesperson says, “We are at the forefront of cow and bull care and protection. And that ISKCON does not just in India but globally. The bulls and cows are served for their life, they are not sold to butchers as she alleges.”

No matter what, this blame has a story behind it and to get things clear from behind the curtain, a probe is a must in this regard. Either one of the two sides is lying which must be exposed with its agenda.
