Asia Cup 2023 Final: Qualification Calculation for India and Pakistan

Asia Cup 2023 is reaching to its high-voltage finals. The two stalwarts India and Pakistan are expected to be at the final point for the final Qualification Scenario For India vs Pakistan Final tussle.

Team India is already there expecting Pakistan to follow. But that is not going to be that easy for them which was not easier for India too. Pakistan squad has to successfully cross the obstacle of Sri Lanka.

Beating Sri Lanka, India has just qualified for the Asia Cup 2023 final. Now the cricket fans world wide are curious over the question – Who will be up against Pakistan in now for sealing the second spot in the title-decider?

If both the cricket stalwarts come facing each other, this will be a history in the Asia Cup since the fans have never seen an India vs Pakistan final in Asia Cup so far.

Though it was nervy victory against Sri Lanka but India has done it convincingly during their second Super 4 match. Thus Team India has earned them the ticket to the final of the Asia Cup 2023. This happened following a complete performance against Pakistan which lasted for two days.

But against the Sri Lanka, it was never easy for Team India during the entire match. They had to dig deep in order to beat the hosts and become the first team to qualify for the title decider.

Today the second spot for the final will be decided  out of the contest against the hosts and Pakistan which is going to be a do or die match in Premdasa Stadium of Colombo. Bangladesh has already out of the tourney after loosing two Super 4 games.

The last time Asia Cup winners Sri Lanka, so far have one victory and one defeat under their belt. Keeping their impeccable performance against India, it is not at all going to be easy for Pakistan to beat them for joining  an Indo-Pak clash at the final stage. Pakistan is little debilitated due to the absence of Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah also.

Unfortunately for Pakistani, their pace duo had sustained injuries while fielding in the match against India. The injuries were too serious for them that they failed to even come out to bat.

Although, Pakistan Team Management has called up backups for their replacement and now the squads hopes to have both Naseem as well as Haris available for the must-win match against the host, Sri Lanka.
