The Delhi Police is charged with filing a bogus case against a businessman as a result of political pressure. The police took two months to record the statement in the case of the drug dealer who was shot with the aim to murder him. The businessman claims that the MLA of Rohtash Nagar attacked him fatally in order to extract two crores from him. The North Eastern District Police, accused of acting without considering the evidence, is unable to respond to any inquiries.
A drug dealer has filed a case against Delhi BJP MLA Jitendra Mahajan for extortion of Rs 2 crore. The businessman claims that the MLA attacked him fatally two months ago. On the other side, the Jyoti Nagar police have launched a case against the businessman for supplying bogus injections in connection with the death of his cancer-afflicted father last year, based on the MLA’s 10-month-old allegation. The injections were purchased from a distributor by the drug dealer. However, neither the distributor nor the drug dealer has been prosecuted by the Jyoti Nagar police.
On May 11 of last year, Jitendra Mahajan, a BJP parliamentarian from Rohtash Nagar, filed a complaint at the Jyoti Nagar police station against Goyal Medicos in Durgapuri. who claimed that on January 8, 2022, he purchased an injectable from Goyal Medicos for his father, who had lung cancer. It was administered to his father on January 13 under Dr. Rajat Bajaj’s supervision. Following the injection, he began to tremble and his blood pressure and heart rate changed abnormally. Then, Dr. Bajaj said that this injection is to blame for the absence of such a physiological reaction. So verify the injection’s validity. The MLA claims that following this, his father’s health continued to deteriorate and he passed away on February 26.
MLA Mahajan asserts that he sent an email to injectable manufacturer Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) on March 7 asking for details. The business responded on April 2 by saying that this batch’s injection was not intended for BMS India. As a result, it is unable to comment on its accuracy. The MLA then protested to the Narcotics Control Department as well. In connection with this, the agency has temporarily suspended Goyal Medicos’ license for five days.
The Legislator did not disclose in his allegation that he purchased two injections from Goyal Medicos on January 8. Another query is why, after his father received an injection on January 13, Dr. Bajaj voiced concern about the injection; in light of this, the MLA purchased a second injection from Goyal Medicos on January 25. Mahajan has not provided details about the injections he purchased again on January 25 in his complaint.
Goyal Medicos purchased the shots from Satyam Drugs in Madangir, whose sincerity is being called into question. The GST portal still has the information on whose bills and GST was paid. The proprietor of Satyam Drugs, Rajkumar Gupta, however, stated in a statement to the Narcotics Control Department that he had not sold these injections. However, a documented response stating that the invoices for selling injections to Goyal Medicos are authentic and belong to his business was provided to the Jyoti Nagar police. According to Gupta, he shut down that business. His entire info was stolen last year. He had also complained about it to the Okhla police station on May 25. Be informed that Goyal Medicos’ record was taken after a police complaint was filed on May 11.
A fatal attack on Basant Goyal, the proprietor of Goyal Medicos, occurred on February 6 in the midst of this development. Miscreants riding bikes shot at Goyal as he was sitting in his office. In this instance, he just barely made it out alive. Yet, the Jyoti Nagar police did not comprehend the necessity of recording the drug dealer’s statement in this case for even two months. Meanwhile, Basant Goyal has claimed that on March 29, unidentified thugs contacted him on his mobile and threatened to kill him if he did not provide MLA Mahajan the two crores in extortion money.
If the reports are to be believed, the official in charge of the constitutional post, who ordered the case to be filed against the businessman, is likewise unaware of the truth. But, the police, who are aware of the distinction between common and special, have disregarded the businessman’s complaint and evidence. Perhaps this is the reason DCP Joy Ann Tirkey is hesitant to comment on this. Jitendra Mahajan, an MLA, was questioned over this topic, but he chose not to respond.
