Pneumonia outbreak in China: How Indian states are preparing

Many Indian states are renovating their medical facilities in response to the puzzling pneumonia outbreak in China.

Schools in China's northern regions have been forced to close due to an increase in pediatric respiratory ailment cases. 

A representative for China's National Health Commission, Mi Feng, claimed on Sunday that the concurrent spread of multiple virus types was responsible for the rise in acute respiratory infections.

The World Health Organization pressed China for more details regarding the outbreak, which led to the rise becoming a global concern.

Tamil Nadu Ma. Subramanian, the health minister for Tamil Nadu, stated on Wednesday that the state's public health department is closely examining the fevers that strike children.

Gujarat Rushikesh Patel, the Gujarat health minister, stated that the central and state governments are prepared for any emergency that may develop as a result of the upsurge in respiratory sickness cases in China.

Karnataka State health minister Dinesh Gundu Rao of Karnataka concurred that there was no reason to panic over the ailment, but he also mentioned that the state's facilities were equipped to handle any emergency.

Rajasthan In response to an increase in respiratory disease cases in northern China, the medical and health department in Rajasthan has instructed its personnel to stay vigilant and establish rapid response teams.
