A BAFTA poll of 4,000 gamers has found that Lara Craft from Tomb Raiders is the most iconic video game Character ever
Here's a look at other characters that have left their mark on several generations
According to BAFTA ranking, Mario is at number 2. It was created in 1981 for Donkey Kong
The next place goes to Agent 47 from Hitman. The character made its debut in the year 2000
Sonic the Hedgehog is at number 4. The character sprinted its way into fan's hearts in 1991
Sackboy, the most customisable character, debuted in 2008 as the star of sony's LittleBiPlanet
Pac-Man, the yellow hockey puck-shaped character is at number 6. It has appeared in over 50 games.
Link, the silent protagonist from legend of Zelda,has also been named one of the most iconic characters
Kratos from God of War is at number 9. The Character has appeared in eight games in the franchise
The 10th place goes to Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of 2018's Red Dead Redemption 2
