Rahul Gandhi: After the Amethi defeat of 2019, the fifth-generation dynast of Congress party's Nehru- Gandhi family seems to be losing his ground in Wayanad as well, where the CPI fielded its candidate in Feb 2024.

Priyanka Gandhi: Rahul's sister remains ambiguous if at all she will contest the elections. After her mother Sonia Gandhi vacated Raebareli, it's unclear if there will be another Gandhi scion who will be fielded from Raebareli.

Mumtaz Patel: After the Congress party gave Bharuch Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat to INDI alliance partner Aam Aadmi Party, late veteran Congress leader Mumtaz Patel expressed displeasure. Her political ambitions remain ambiguous.

Supriya Sule: The breakup of the Nationalist Congress Party has also broken the doors of Maharashtra's Baramati Lok Sabha seat off the 'safe' vault of the Pawar political dynasty. Sule's cousin Ajit Pawar is expected to field his wife from Baramati from the NCP faction he leads as part of the BJP-led NDA.
