A large number of asteroids exist near the Earth. Which are spread all around the solar System.
Asteroids are a matter of concern for NASA because there is a danger of them colliding with the Earth.
Asteroid Collision can destroy the Earth. That's why NASA tracks asteroids.
One such giant asteroid 2024 CW6 is going to come close to the Earth today.
Its Size is 33 feet. which is as big as a bus.
After reaching its closest point to the Earth, it will be Just 38.2 lakh Km away. eet. which is as big as a bus.
An asteroid can be dangerous for the Earth if it comes closer than 75 lakh Kilometers.
In such a situation, NASA constantly keeps an eye on the direction of asteroids, so that possible threats from them can be avoided in time.
