Breathtaking optical illusion
occurred during a Florida sunset sparked a social media frenzy
Video features sunset that appears to be split into two screens, with
darker, more muted sky on the left
and
vibrant reds and yellows on the right.
The sight is explained by the
shadow of a massive cloud below the horizon
Because of this cloud cover,
direct sunlight could not reach the clouds closer to the ground,
giving the appearance of two different skyscapes.
As the image circulated on X,
comments poured in from intrigued users.
One individual speculated,
