WhatsApp is a go-to application for all the people who wish to share any kind of information or multi media.

During the Corona era, there has been a significant spike in the use of WhatsApp, which has also led to an increase in fraud incidents.

The corporation has acted once more for security grounds, targeting 75 lakh Indian consumers this time.

Department of Information Technology has issued regulations, and in response to user complaints, WhatsApp has banned 75 lakh users

The report states that these users were prohibited for a month, starting on October 1, 2023, and ending on October 31, 2023.

This action has been taken against the users who abuse Meta’s platform. People need to be careful while using WhatsApp.

Without any user complaints, the firm banned 19,19,000 users. After the report, a few more users were banned.

If the user is banned, he/she will get a message from the company when they start WhatsApp.

If the user believes that he/she has been banned by mistake, they can send an email or request to be reinstated and WhatsApp will look into the matter.
