Israel Intensifies  Aerial Strikes Over Gaza;  Latest Updates In  10 Points

At least one person was killed and three others were hurt when an Israeli aircraft attacked a compound beneath a mosque in the occupied West Bank on Sunday, according to the IDF.

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, a spokesman for the Israeli military, urged Gazans to go south and out of harm's way on Saturday. "Move southerly for your own protection. Speaking to the media, he declared, "We will intensify attacks in the vicinity of Gaza City.

IDF said that it has detected 550 failed rocket launches and misfires since the beginning of the Gaza war.

“The terrorist organisation Hamas uses the residents of the Gaza Strip as human shields and fires from civilian infrastructure. Since the beginning of the fighting, the IDF has detected about 550 failed launches fired from the Gaza Strip,” IDF said.

Additionally, the Israeli military made available footage of rocket barrages fired from Gaza, in which a number of rockets were seen colliding with the Gaza Strip.

A draft UN Security Council resolution put out by the United States asserts Israel's right to self-defense and calls on Iran to stop shipping weapons to "militias and terrorist groups threatening peace and security across the region."

For the first time since the Israel-Hamas war broke out on October 7, food and medical supplies started to enter Gaza from Egypt on Saturday. The 20-truck convoy contained life-saving goods that would be delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent, according to the United Nations.

However, the U.N. Humanitarian Office (OCHA) reports that the amount of supplies that entered Gaza on Saturday was only a small portion of what was required following a 13-day siege of the enclave, which is home to 2.3 million people, and equal to about 4% of the daily average of imports before the hostilities.

Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said that although they intended to free two more hostages for "humanitarian reasons," Israel turned them away. Israel meanwhile referred to the assertion as "propaganda." 

At a crisis session in Cairo, Egypt, a number of Arab officials renewed demands for de-escalation as Israel continues its bombardment on Gaza and gets ready to launch a land offensive.
