PM To Inaugurate 160Km/H Running Rapid Rail, Know Everything About It

Rapid Rail, known as RAPIDX, is set for inauguration next week
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the first train on the 17-km priority corridor in Ghaziabad
The train is set to run at a speed of 160 kilometres per hour
Passengers will have the opportunity to travel by train from 6 am to 11 pm, with trains available at the station every 15 minutes
The RRTS corridors aim to reduce travel time between Delhi and major NCR cities, so that becomes convenient for people to live outside Delhi and commute to work
While the fare has been determined, the specific amount has not yet been disclosed
The train will comprise of six coaches. A coach reserved for women similar to Delhi Metro
The train is designed with 2X2 seating capacity with overhead luggage racks
Charging points at every seat and onboard Wifi will be provided to passengers
