On Monday, the war between Israel and Hamas, the Palestinian organisation, entered its seventeenth day. On both sides, there have been thousands of injuries and almost 6,000 deaths.

Details:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid a visit to the military forces positioned close to the border with Lebanon.

Since the start of the conflict on October 7, the forces have engaged in gunfire with the terrorist organisation Hezbollah, which is supported by Iran.

This comes as Hezbollah threatened to punish Israel for launching a second ground invasion of the Gaza Strip, claiming that the organisation was "in the heart of the battle."

It will commit the greatest error of its life. It will be severely crippled by a force it cannot even fathom, with disastrous results for both it and the Lebanese state said Netanyahu

Israel declared on Sunday that it had approved a second shipment of humanitarian goods for Gaza in response to a request from the United States and advice from other political figures.

The first aid delivery since Israel's total embargo started two weeks ago was made on Saturday when the first consignment, consisting of 20 trucks, arrived in the area.

According to Israeli officials, the Sunday shipment contained only food, water, and medical supplies—no fuel.

On Sunday, India sent 32 tonnes of disaster relief materials and over 6.5 tonnes of medical help to the Palestinians.

Essential life-saving drugs, surgical tools, tarps, tents, sleeping bags, and other necessities are included in the help package.
