Iran Urges India To Utilize Its Resources To Halt Israeli Assault on Gaza

Raisi emphasized India's historical struggles against Western colonialism and its role in the Non-Aligned Movement

He called for a global joint effort for an immediate ceasefire, lifting the blockade, and aiding the people of Gaza

Raisi condemned the killing of Palestinian civilians and supported their right to resist the occupation

He questioned the different perceptions of European resistance against Nazi Germany and Palestinian resistance

Raisi described the relationship between Iran and India as "strategic" and stressed the need for cooperation

The importance of the North-South Corridor and Chabahar Port in strengthening economic cooperation was discussed

Prime Minister Modi highlighted the need to prevent escalation and restore peace and stability in the region

The leaders welcomed progress in bilateral cooperation, including the Chabahar port
