India warns Pakistan for referring Kashmir on Israel-Gaza conflict

India has said that it will not honour Pakistan's reference to Kashmir in the Israel-Gaza conflict by responding to it, but treating it with the disdain it merits.

Munir Akram, Pakistan's UN envoy, brought up the subject of Kashmir during the Security Council discussion on the Middle East crisis.

In the interest of time, Ravindra declared, "I would treat these remarks with the contempt they deserve and not dignify them with a response."

Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken declared that all acts of terrorism are illegal and indefensible at the Security Council meeting.

Whether they are carried out by Hamas, targeting individuals in Mumbai or Kibbutz Beeri, or by Lashkar-e-Taiba, the terror group based in Pakistan.

"We have to uphold every country's right to self-defense and stop such atrocities from happening again.

Blinken declared, "No nation in this body, no member of this Council, could or would tolerate the slaughter of its people."

He emphasised that it is the duty of the Security Council to condemn member nations that provide support, resources, or training to terrorist organisations.

Blinken seems to be alluding to the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on November 26, 2001, which were carried out by Lashkar-e-Taiba, a group based in Pakistan.
