The banks of the Saryu River are adorned with a grand aarti, vibrant lights, and hundreds of thousands of diyas, creating a breathtaking spectacle.

This year's celebrations also began with the morning 'Shobha Yatra' (the holy procession).

With the participation of 16 colourful tableaux and more than 500 artists, the Shobha Yatra left everyone in awe and anticipation of what was coming next.

At 6:30 pm on Saturday, CM Yogi Adityanath will lead the Saryu Aarti and commence the Festival of Lights at 7:30 pm at Ram Ki Paidi, the riverside ghats on the Saryu.

The Chief Minister, accompanied by guests, will enjoy Ramlila performances from four nations. Yogi Adityanath plans to spend the night in Ayodhya.

To make the event historic, over 24 lakh diyas at 51 ghats including Ram Ki Pairi and Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat will illuminate the city on Saturday evening.

25,000 volunteers, including students from Avadh University and the Ayodhya district administration, have been enlisted to simultaneously illuminate the diyas.

The count of lamps will be monitored by the Guinness Book of World Records team, with the help of drone cameras for accuracy.
