Emotional stages we go through after a breakup or heartbreak

Everyone can find it tough to deal with a split or loss. Every person experiences it in a different manner and heals in a different way.

There's no right or wrong way to handle the pain and stress that comes with going through a breakup.

Letting go of a person or a world you once believed in can be a difficult journey. these are a few phases everyone deals with while a heartbreak

The initial phase of a loss involves shock and a partial inability to comprehend whether events have actually occurred.

Shock and denial:

 We have a desperate need for answers to everything from self-doubt to the relationship in which we have put our feelings.

Desperate need for solutions:

 The third stage is having the fear of being alone, being stuck in loneliness and experiencing immense sadness of the loss.

Fear, loneliness and sadness:

At this point, we begin to imagine possibilities in order to put off feeling down.

Bargaining:

We become furious with the one who has betrayed and abandoned us when we feel abandoned. We begin to compute the feelings, affinities, and love we have for them.

Anger:

when we begin to heal and prioritise our needs over those of others. We begin to value our tranquilly and accept things as they are.

Peace and acceptance

The ability to let go of the past, our younger selves, and move forward with kindness.
