Skoda developing brand-new sub-four-meter SUV for the Indian market, which could go on sale in the middle of this decade.
Skoda probably took inspiration for this little SUV from the Kushaq, even though the company hasn't yet revealed any official images or concepts.
While the interiors will stay the same as the Slavia, some design changes will be made to make it stand out from the other models in the line.
This model would be powered by the MQB A0 IN platform, which is particularly intended for developing nations like India and keeps costs under control.
The MQB A0 IN platform has an exceptional 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash tests, while being highly localized.
The top-end variants are expected to start around Rs. 10 Lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to around Rs. 17 Lakh. The expected release date of this product is 2025.
