Yesterday, there was an attack on a Red Cross convoy in Gaza City that was bringing supplies that could save lives.

Israel has launched a military operation against Hamas in response to a surprise attack by Hamas operatives on border towns that resulted in significant casualties. 

Israel's ground forces are currently locating and destroying the extensive tunnel network constructed by Hamas underneath the besieged enclave. 

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Lebanon's Hezbollah, backed by Iran, against joining the war. 

Yoav Gallant, the Israeli defense minister, emphasized Israel's resolve "to destroy Hamas" on Tuesday and stated that their forces are located in the "heart of the Gaza City." 

A Red Cross convoy transporting vital medical supplies was attacked in Gaza City yesterday, resulting in damage to two trucks and an injured driver. The attackers' identity was not disclosed. 

Medical charity Doctors Without Borders reported the tragic death of one of its staff members and multiple family members in Gaza due to their home collapsing during a bombing, highlighting the overall lack of safety in the region from indiscriminate attacks.

Israel plans to take on "overall security" in Gaza post-war but faces opposition from the US, which opposes a long-term Israeli presence and emphasizes Palestinian involvement in decision-making in the area.

Israel's increased military actions in Gaza have caused great concern for the 2.4 million residents, with the UN rights chief describing the past month as a period of extreme suffering, violence, destruction, and despair.

Gazans endure immense suffering as Israeli airstrikes reduce city blocks to rubble. Surgeons save lives by phone flashlight, and an average of 160 children daily lose their lives in Gaza due to the war, per the World Health Organization.

Over 400 U.S. citizens have exited Gaza via the Rafah crossing with Egypt, while many Palestinians with foreign passports are still waiting for their chance to leave.
