On October 29, there will be a second eclipse in October, which is an unusual occurrence.
Just 14 days will pass between the solar eclipse on October 14 and the lunar eclipse on this particular day.
The earth passes between the sun and the full moon during a partial lunar eclipse.
In accordance with the Ministry of Science's official announcement, October 28–29, 2023, will see a partial lunar eclipse.
The umbral phase will begin in the early hours of October 29, even though the Moon will reach penumbra around midnight on October 28.
Around midnight, the Partial Lunar Eclipse will be visible from every location in India.
The eclipse will last for one hour and nineteen minutes.
On October 29, at 01:05 IST, the eclipse's umbral phase will start and terminate at 02:24 IST.
The next lunar eclipse, according to a PIB announcement, will be a total lunar eclipse that can be seen from India on September 7, 2025.
