Vivek Agnihotri announces Mahabharata-Inspired Trilogy 'Parva'

Known for making important films like The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri revealed the title of his upcoming picture, "Parva"

The film will be part of a three-part franchise, based on SL Bhyrappa's book Parva.

"Is Mahabharat HISTORY or MYTHOLOGY?," tweeted Agnihotri in response to his announcement of his upcoming major project, a movie based on the Mahabharata epic.

Agnihotri went so far as to explain the moniker "Masterpiece of masterpieces" for PARVA.

Vivek Agnihotri's film "The Kashmir Files" has took home the Nargis Dutt Award for outstanding national unity film.

Pallavi Joshi, who starred in it, took home her second National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.

This film is going to spread the message of humanity

The narrative is taken from an SL Bhyrappa novel. It is an adaptation of the Sanskrit epic Mahabharata told from the main characters' introspective points of view.

Numerous people have hailed and acclaimed the book as a modern classic.
