In this momentous occasion, India launched the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS).

Modern regional mobility solutions like RRTS, which is being developed in India, are on par with the best worldwide.

It will provide the country with safe, dependable, and modern intercity transportation options.

With amenities like Wi-Fi, charging ports at every seat, and overhead storage, RRTS trains prioritise the comfort of their patrons.

In addition, a first-class vehicle featuring roomy seats, generous legroom, and coat racks will be available. For increased convenience, there are vending machines for passengers on board.

Eight RRTS corridors in the National Capital Region (NCR) have been designated for development.

One of the showpiece projects is the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS, which is expected to cost more than ₹ 30,000 crore.
