The installation of the idol of Ram Lalla in the sanctum sanctorum will take place at a ceremony to which the PM will be formally invited by the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

The ground floor of the three-story Ram temple in Ayodhya will be finished by the end of December, and the consecration ceremony is scheduled for January 22.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to participate in a ceremony related to the "pran pratishtha" on any day between January 20 and 24

Efforts are being made to create a device that will be mounted atop the temple's'shikhar' and cause the sun to briefly shine on the deity's forehead in the sanctum sanctorum on Ram Navami every year.

The court had determined that the 2.77 acres of the contested land, where the former Babri Masjid from the 16th century stood, belonged to the plaintiff.

The temple trust has chosen to begin the consecration of Ram Lalla on January 14 after Makar Sankranti and follow a 10-day ceremony known as the "pran pratishtha" of Ram Lalla.

The Ram temple in Ayodhya is set to welcome pilgrims on January 24 following the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol

The temple is being built with the intention that it will remain standing for at least a thousand years

The 'pran pratishtha' will be launched after consultation with wise saints and sages.
