ISRO all set to  launch it's  next mission: gaganyaan

The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) is gearing  up for its next major project,  the Gaganyaan mission

Following the successful completion of the  Chandrayaan-3 lunar  mission and the launch of  India's first solar mission,  Aditya L1

A Human-Rated Launch  Vehicle (HRLV) will be  converted from the heavy- weight LVM-3 launch  vehicle currently in use

Capable of carrying a crew  module and Indian  astronauts to space  in the future

Crew escape system would be  put in place to ensure that  the crew module could be  safely ejected away from the launch vehicle in the event  of any anomaly

Isro is now carrying out a  number of experiments,  including drops of the crew module

The Environmental Control  System in the Crew Module  will control water perspiration  get rid of exhaled carbon  dioxide, keep the oxygen to nitrogen ratio constant

facilitating communication  with ground staff, and  offering thermal insulation,  the astronauts' suits will  also have Multiple features

In October, Isro is anticipated  to start testing using  the L-40 engine
