5 WAYS TO AVOID DEHYDRATION THIS SUMMER

Temperatures in Northern India are at an all-time high. With scorching heat beating down on us, staying hydrated is important. Here are 5 easy ways to avoid dehydration.

1. Drink Plenty Amount of Water- We should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water daily.

2. Eat Hydrating Foods- We should eat water-rich foods like Watermelon, Leafy Greens, Cucumber, Oranges etc.

3. Avoid Sugary Drink- We should avoid drinking coffee and energy drinks as they increase fluid loss. Instead, we should opt for drinks like Coconut water or Herbal teas.

4. Wear Light Clothes- We should wear light fabrics like cotton or linen to stay cool and reduce sweating.

5. Adjust Exercise Time- We should plan our regular exercise routine for around early morning or late evening when temperatures are cooler.
