Animals without a backbone or bony skeleton are known as invertebrates
They vary from tiny mites and nearly undetecable files to huge squid with eyes the size of soccer balls
Here is a list of animals which have no bones
Jellywish do not have bones. They also have no heart or blood and are around 95% water
Butterflies have an exoskeleton, which is a hard outer covering that provides support and protection
Similar to butterflies, crabs do not have bones and have an exoskeleton
Snails are soft-bodied creatures who have a hard outer shell, which provides prootection. Their bodies are supported by a muscular foot and a structure called a mantle
Mantis Shrimp appear to have spines but have no bones in their bodies. This animal is small but is one of the most impressive predators in the ocean
