One of the houses' owners, Lewis Bruggeman, told local media that his $16 million property was "not threatened and it will not be" declared uninhabitable. According to Bruggeman, the administration concurred that the house didn't have any significant structural problems.
Pictures from the affected area captured the dramatic scene of lighter sand and soil exposed as the darker cliff face collapsed, with patches of greenery in the newly formed crater. Despite the dramatic photographs, authorities stated that there was no immediate danger.
