Here’s The Schedule Of  7-Day Rituals Of  Ram Mandir’s Consecration

One of the most prestigious events of the decade is round the corner, Ayodhya is going to welcome Lord Ram on 22nd January.

For that welcome, rituals are to go on for 7 days, here’s the schedule

January 16 Dashvidh bath ritual to be conducted on the banks of ‘Saryu’. It would include worship of Lord Vishnu and Godan.

January 17 Procession with Ram Lalla’s idol to visit Ayodhya. Devotees will reach temple carrying Saryu water in Mangal Kalash or pot.

January 18 Formal rituals to commence with Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan and Vastu Puja

January 19 Agni Sthapana, Navagraha Sthapana and a havan to be performed

January 20 The sanctum sanctorum of the temple to be cleaned with holy Saryu water. Rituals concerning Vaastu Shanti and Annadhivas to be performed

January 21 Idol to the deity to be washed with 125 urns. The Shayadhivas ritual to be performed on the same day.

January 22 Finally, Ram Lalla will be consecrated in Mrigashira Nakshatra in the afternoon.
