Avoid Alcohol

Hydration Is The Key

It hurts, like LITERALLY hurts when you get tattooed on dry skin. Hence, drink ample amount of water prior to your appointment. And DO NOT forget to carry your bottle to sip on during the process too.

Good Night Dear!

Sleep well before you get a tattoo. That’s not all, you need to be cautious of how you sleep after you get it too. Avoid positions that put pressure on your inked area.

Keep It Clean

To avoid bacterial infection, ensure to KEEP IT CLEAN, by washing your tattoo gently. Ensure that you are using a mild, fragrance-free soap to wash of excess blood and ink.

Tattoo Needs Moisture Too

After you get your stunning tattoo, your tattoo artist will give you an ointment or a tattoo wax. DO NOT FORGET to apply it. In case s/he forgets, buy it yourself but make sure it is fragrance-free.

Stay Away

STAY AWAY, from the sun. Do not expose your tattoo to direct sunlight or it will burn and damage both your skin and tattoo.

Keep Calm and Be Patient

Patience is the key, Different people’s skins react differently to tattoos. Some may heal faster than others, but that’s no cause for concern.

No matter how itchy your tattooed area feels, DO NOT SCRATCH if you don’t want to ruin your tattoo or invite infections.

You Can’t Workout
